If you eat with your eyes, then food photography is an essential appetizer for your restaurant guests. These images are all shot on location at Costa restaurant at Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara. The ultra creative team and chef at Costa draw on old world coastal Italian cuisine and infuse Middle Easter influences to create a celebration of global flavors and California harvests. My recommendation? The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes off the breakfast menu. You might wind up dreaming about them later.

Grace and Kaity's Santa Barbara Women's Club Wedding was truly so joyful and meaningful. I particularly loved how both brides so sweetly incorporated their fathers with first looks and first dances. It's evident that their families are so excited to be part of one another's lives in a shared future.
Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer | Katie and Doug at Alice Keck Gardens Wedding Photography7/21/2019
Doug and Katie's Santa Barbara July wedding began in a park and ended up in an uproarious Italian-style party. This Alice Keck Park wedding was sunny and bright. After a post-ceremony portrait hour, the new couple and I did a photo-walk to Villa & Vine, where their friends and family awaited them to celebrate and wine down the evening together.
Ceremony venue: Alice Keck Memorial Gardens, Santa Barbara Reception venue & catering: Villa & Vine Cake: Santa Barbara Cakes I love shooting weddings that are a perfect representation of the couple getting married. If Jackie and Nate were an event, they would be this one: outdoorsy, surfer-friendly, cabins, hours of barefoot dancing, majoring on the majors, minoring on the minors.
The venue, El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara, made this event the truly beautiful event that it was. Rustic cabins dotted around the property, trails and footbridges winding over streams and under oaks, next to rolling hills coated in soft grass, all framing a magnificent Pacific Ocean view. The outdoor ceremony ended just in time for a 3-minute December sprinkle, giving way to a sunny rainbow in the distance. After a portrait hour with family and wedding party (and a few extra minutes with the newlywed couple), the party moved down the hill to the reception area: complete with fire pits for lounging, red wine for sipping, and a live duo of banjo, guitar, harmonica, and bongo-playing brothers to crank out foot stomping tunes long into the night. Most of the guests spent the night on site in cabins. What a brilliant idea! Venue: El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara, California |
