 Lucas and Lindsay's breathtaking Point Dume elopement had just the right amount of coastal breeze to lift her veil and provide a dramatic backdrop to their intimate vows. It also helps that Lucas is French and therefore showed up with a PER-FECT-LY tailored suit and the most suave demeanor. It's no wonder Lindsay is smitten with him. The two said their vows to love and cherish one another forever at the beautiful cliffscape state park of Point Dume. This is a wonderful choice to elope because there isn't much foot traffic so they had the whole coastal view to themselves.

I'm so glad the Slones stayed at Calamigos Ranch so we could take their family pictures together on the property! The Ranch is such a beautiful natural setting for photos (it's no wonder it's also a very popular wedding venue!) filled with mini-forests and cultivated gardens. We shot these photos mid-morning while the grounds were quiet and explored some of the gardens and buildings on the property. Lucky us we happened upon this very stylish chair for some editorial-style family pictures to go along with the more casual, natural ones. The French family all convened in Malibu to celebrate the graduation of their daughter Carolina and spend some time catching up at the beautiful Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. Family photos together on the Calamigos Ranch property was the perfect activity to explore the grounds and get everyone dressed up before their celebratory dinner out. Nothing says summertime like ocean waves, tacos, cocktails, and... roller skating?!? At Pasea Hotel and Spa in Huntington Beach, that's exactly right. These fun-lovin' photos highlight the easy breezy good times had by all at the annual roller skating rink at Pasea Hotel and Spa that pops up every summer. Here for a good (disco) time, not a long time. Don't miss out on your chance to limbo under a disco ball right next to the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean.
Congratulations to Jon and Kathleen on your beautiful and meaningful wedding at Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo, California. Favorite moments? I'm always a sucker for a sweet private ketubah signing before the ceremony. I also think it's really cool that these two met in their organizational development grad program at Pepperdine University and as a result they invited their whole grad school cohort to the wedding and like 40 of them came! A true testament to how loved these two are as a couple (and also how the challenges of grad school forges lifelong friendships).
