 
If you eat with your eyes, then food photography is an essential appetizer for your restaurant guests. These images are all shot on location at Costa restaurant at Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara. The ultra creative team and chef at Costa draw on old world coastal Italian cuisine and infuse Middle Easter influences to create a celebration of global flavors and California harvests. My recommendation? The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes off the breakfast menu. You might wind up dreaming about them later.
   The goal here was a sense of place for Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara. This gallery captures views of the facility and the surrounding neighborhood (including the beach!) the restaurance, foyer, landscaping, pool, fountains, entryway and more. These photos will be used for social media, website, print and digital promotion for years to come.
  Being an Orange County hotel photographer has its perks... like great views of the ocean, balconies overlooking the pool, and steaming mugs of black coffee enjoyed for hours in downstairs lobby nooks. Someone at Pasea Hotel & Spa had their thinking cap on during COVID, because they came out with the best idea of the summer: rooftop concerts, exclusively for the enjoyment of hotel guests on their balconies. All you need is a room service dessert and a glass of champagne and you have the best box seat in town for LA's up and coming talent.
Malibu Wines is a popular summertime hangout where locals can pack a picnic, sip some great local wine, and kick their shoes off as the hot summer days turn into perfect summer evenings. Sometimes Malibu Wines brings in comedians or plays classic films on the lawn. Can life get any better?
Malibu Wines reached out in need of some quality lifestyle photography to power their visuals on social media (particularly Instagram) and their web presence.

One is a fresh, local, SoCal caterer and the other is an equally fresh, equally local, line of sweat pants. Together, Farm & Flame and Plain made a magical launch party happen last weekend in Malibu. With the usual mix of neighbors, surfers, families and a couple A-listers-next-door, we toasted the launch of two creative, lady-boss-led companies right here in our backyard. My faves? The classic "No Strings Attached" sweatpant in gray, the Malibu Mary bloodys, the Brussels & Belly Skewers (you'll know them when you see them), the front yard setting, the brand new Farm & Flame food truck, and all the pretty afternoon light that showed up to make it all glow just so. I can't think of a better combination of companies to represent what we value most about our Malibu lifestyle than the food we love and the clothes we live in.
