I'm so glad the Slones stayed at Calamigos Ranch so we could take their family pictures together on the property! The Ranch is such a beautiful natural setting for photos (it's no wonder it's also a very popular wedding venue!) filled with mini-forests and cultivated gardens. We shot these photos mid-morning while the grounds were quiet and explored some of the gardens and buildings on the property. Lucky us we happened upon this very stylish chair for some editorial-style family pictures to go along with the more casual, natural ones.  This was a fun grad-plus-family combo! The French family all convened in Malibu to celebrate the graduation of their daughter Carolina and spend some time catching up at the beautiful Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. Family photos together on the Calamigos Ranch property was the perfect activity to explore the grounds and get everyone dressed up before their celebratory dinner out. Congrats to the French fam on all the exciting milestones you're celebrating together!

Sion and Christina selected the picturesque St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral for their wedding ceremony and the equally beautiful Calamigos Ranch for their reception. I always love the gravitas and old-world class that a cathedral brings to the setting of wedding vows. Then afterward, treating all their loved ones to lavish food and dancing beneath the stars in Malibu was the perfect balance. It was truly an honor to document their special day! Jenny and Parke are a pair of globe-trotting lovebirds who seem to have friends and loved ones all over the world. Rather than just one wedding day, they've opted for a whole season of wedding celebrations and gatherings in California, Colorado, Connecticut, and England! This engagement party at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, was their kick off celebration, complete with wine tasting, paddle boats, and ping pong on the lawn.
