Check out this beautiful home on the web for this Texas-based life coach. I've noticed that many coaches and therapists don't know where to start when they begin offering their services to the world. Is it on socials? Is it an email? Is it a website?
I find that a website is a great place to start for several reasons. 1) Think of a website as you online 24-hour marketing team that tells the world what you do, even while you sleep. 2) Getting words organized on a website is a great way to help you tighten up your branding and marketing message. Specifically articulating what you offer and what problems those products/services solve is an essential stage in developing your business. A website will help you do just that. 3) A website is an advocate. It makes you look like a legit company. Once you have a website, you're not just some guy or gal doing this hustle on the side. You've gone pro, and you're charging for it. Check out Matt Soper's coaching website at sopercoaching.com >> Website designed and built using Weebly. The church website for University Church of Christ in Malibu, California was so much fun to build because this community is near and dear to my heart. This church is my home and my community and the crowd of people that I laugh with, live alongside, worship with, gather with, celebrate with, and kick it on the weekends with.
This church website was designed to be a home on the web, showcasing details about University Church's regular meetings, sign ups for small groups, applications for student jobs, and to share a little taste of what it's like to be in community with this awesome church in Malibu, California. Since this has been my church home for the last nine years, I had bunches of beautiful photos to choose from that showcase the authentic feelings and the aesthetic beauty of our community nestled on the coast of southern California. Scroll through the screenshot of the UCC Malibu website home page below, or click over to the live website to see the functions, such as embedded newsletter sign up, recruiting students for student worker staff positions, and even a spiritual life blog that was started by some students on the ministry team. ** This website was built using Weebly, one of the many browser-based website builders I regularly use to design beautiful and useful websites for my clients. All the websites I build are optimized for desktop and mobile browsing, and part of the website package is a final meeting with me where I hand over the keys and show you how to login and make changes to your website, such as updating photos and changing text. I believe that your business should have a website that you love AND that you're able to edit AND it shouldn't break the bank. Lizzie & John Brenkus (of Sport Science fame) are a powerhouse couple when it comes to making music together. John & Lizzie co-wrote and released "Christmas is My Favorite Time of Year" just in time for Christmas 2014. I had the honor of shooting the photography for the album cover and building the website for the song. Sharla Barrett Skin Care is an esthetician and skin care retailer based in Malibu, CA. Sharla loves sharing her passion for healthy and beautiful skin with her clients in person through facials and treatments and online through her blog and online store. In order to showcase the many wonderful products Sharla uses and stands by in her practice, Sharla uses Weebly's e-commerce feature. The user-friendly interface allows Sharla to upload photos she takes (or finds on the web) of the products, write descriptions, keep track of inventory and even process payment from inside her store. Sharla's customers enjoy peace of mind knowing their payment information is safe and that Sharla will be ready to answer any questions they may have. If you ever want to meet some people who are changing the world, head on over to www.madeinthestreets.org and marvel at their truly inspiring work. MITS is a nonprofit organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. Since 1995, MITS has been tirelessly loving and serving the homeless community of Nairobi and one by one rehabilitating children and teens who demonstrate a desire to turn their lives around. MITS already had a website when they brought me on board, but over the years I've redesigned it and updated content as needed. The site has over 50 pages, so keeping things organized and easy to navigate is important. Highlights of this site include the online store (www.madeinthestreets.org/store) and the many functional online application forms for internships. This website is so much more than an online business card. It is a member of the PR team. Click through the slideshow below to view screenshots of the site or take a look in person at www.madeinthestreets.org. Rock it 2 the Core is a Los Angeles-based movement to end human trafficking. Their signature event is an outdoor event that's part yoga, part dance party and part concert with all proceeds going to support Unlikely Heroes. They needed a website to support the event as well as the movement as it continued into the future. Click through the slides to see what I came up with or visit the site live at www.rockit2thecore.org. More websites can be viewed on my websites page.
Michelle is a Malibu-based caterer. She needed a website as a place to showcase photos of the beautiful dishes and meals she creates for audiences large and small. In addition to the photo-driven site and all the usual about/contact information, we also made space for sample menus to be downloaded. This site was created with Weebly. Click through the slideshow below or check out Michelle's website live at www.michellesmalibumeals.com. Like this? Check out the rest of the sites I've built on my websites page. Lizzie Brenkus is a yoga instructor, Ironman, supermom and world traveler. Anyone who meets her walks away inspired and in awe. If it were possible to pull a website out of thin air through sheer force of will, I bet Lizzie could do it. Unfortunately, it's not possible.... so she called me! Lizzie already had a logo, so we worked off that nice lime green color to create brand identity throughout the site. As a competitive athlete, yogi and coach, Lizzie has much to share. I designed a site that speaks to all her favorite activities and offers an outlet for her to engage with her tribe through her blog. Click through the images in the slideshow below to view stills or see the site in action at www.lizziebrenkusfit.com. Like this site? Want one of your own? Shoot me an email and let's talk! You can also view other websites I've built on my websites page or on facebook.
The Santa Monica-Malibu Classroom Teachers Association (SMMCTA) needed a website redesign. The site needed to be functional for teachers who are members of the association. I used Weebly to build a site that has tons of links to helpful articles, file downloads, and other resources that the SMMCTA makes available to its members. Structurally, the site is quite simple, with only 4 pages, all accessible from the main menu. This is a significant simplification from the original site. The new site also features SMMCTA's slick new logo (designed by me!), to go with the simplified classroom vibe. Click through the slideshow below to view stills of the site or see it live at www.smmcta.com. Like this site? I build lots of them! View others on my websites page or on my facebook page.
If you or someone you know is ready for their first website or looking for a site redesign, feel free to shoot me an email and we'll talk about it! |
