Design | "Fitness in 100 Words"

Those of you who know me know I love CrossFit. I believe CrossFit and yoga are the ideal combination for optimum strength, flexibility and longevity. Years ago, when the movement was just getting started, CrossFit founder, Greg Glassman, coined this manifesto, known as "World Class Fitness in 100 Words." It describes what exactly CrossFitters do that gets such awesome results so fast.

Dusty and I love this manifesto and do our best to live by it, so I decided to design the words into a 12x18 poster (click the image to the right to enlarge) that we'll frame and hang somewhere in our house. New Website | "Christmas is My Favorite Time of Year"

Lizzie & John Brenkus (of Sport Science fame) are a powerhouse couple when it comes to making music together. John & Lizzie co-wrote and released "Christmas is My Favorite Time of Year" just in time for Christmas 2014. I had the honor of shooting the photography for the album cover and building the website for the song.

New Website & Online Store | Sharla Barrett Skin Care

Sharla Barrett Skin Care is an esthetician and skin care retailer based in Malibu, CA. Sharla loves sharing her passion for healthy and beautiful skin with her clients in person through facials and treatments and online through her blog and online store. In order to showcase the many wonderful products Sharla uses and stands by in her practice, Sharla uses Weebly's e-commerce feature. The user-friendly interface allows Sharla to upload photos she takes (or finds on the web) of the products, write descriptions, keep track of inventory and even process payment from inside her store.

Sharla's customers enjoy peace of mind knowing their payment information is safe and that Sharla will be ready to answer any questions they may have.

Promo Video | The Neshama Project

The Neshama Project is an incredible jewelry company that is spreading joy, soul & impossibly beautiful Israeli opal hamsas across Southern California. The mastermind behind the movement is Rachelle Tratt, yoga instructor and jewelry designer who lives her brand day in and day out by wearing as much turquoise-colored items as she can and visiting Israel as often as she can get her hands on an airplane ticket.

One of the many beautiful pieces available on The Neshama Project's online store is The Doreen Bracelet. Check out this video that I shot with Rachelle one sunny day in Malibu and edited into a promo piece.

Logo & Branding | Nonprofit Leadership Collaborative

The Nonprofit Leadership Collaborative is a project that launched in fall 2013 in the business division at Pepperdine University designed to connect students interested in the nonprofit sector with experiences, projects and mentors who can help them along their path.

After developing the initial logo, I went to work creating more print and digital marketing pieces to support the new brand. After that I built their website.

Event Marketing Design | Pepperdine Career Center

Pepperdine's Seaver College Career Center puts together career fairs and events on campus several times each year. They need beautiful signage to spread the word about these events to students on campus.

Along with posters, the marketing piece usually shows up in post cards, other print materials, event materials and digital marketing collateral. These are examples of collateral I've designed for several events in the past.

Event Branding | lululemon athletica Westlake Store Opening

lululemon athletica opened up a new store in Westlake, Calif., and they needed collateral to get the word out.

The grand opening took place in November, during the beautiful Southern California fall season so we went with a rich gold and burgundy color scheme and used a stained glass pattern to match the beautiful stained glass motifs at the store.

Retreat Branding | Pepperdine Unplugged

Pepperdine puts on an annual retreat for students and staff to unplug their lives--gadgets, networks, distractions--and recharge in a spiritual way. The retreat planning team needed a logo and branding scheme for the whole weekend.

Once we had the logo set, we built out from there: marketing strategy, printed materials, schedule, name tags, even a custom journal for the participants to keep.
