I always love shooting events at University of Texas in Austin. Congratulations to all the graduates. You have so much to be proud of and grateful for. This particular commencement was for the College of Education, who hired me to cover the graduation day for their social and digital storytelling.
Reese is a born and bred Austin girl, so before she heads out to school in Arizona, she wanted to capture a few shots of the iconic city that she calls home. We explored street art, architecture, found the right spot for a capitol building shot, and even took a pit stop on the Congress Bridge.
The secret to getting all these shots without getting stuck in traffic? Shooting in the morning! The only people out and about were people walking their dogs or getting their morning coffee. Congratulations Reese on all your accomplishments! Go Sun Devils! Georgetown, TX, Engagement Photographer | Emma & Cary Downtown Georgetown and Garey Park Pictures9/7/2025
I recently moved (for part of the year) to Texas, and this shoot was a first: the first time a guy has showed up wearing a cowboy hat as part of his outfit. And this couple rocked it. If cowboy boots and a cowboy hat are part of outfits in this neck of the woods, I am here. for. it. Emma and Cary are an amazing Austin couple who are about to take on the world together as they get married and move forward to their next adventure in life. We had a great time bouncing around downtown Georgetown and nearby Garey Park for this mix of fun Georgetown engagement photos. We explored the Seaholm district, with its beautiful glass buildings in the background and the iconic Butterfly Bridge (gotta time the shots with traffic because this is still a road!)
These kids are all so full of personality and love for one another and their parents and I'm so glad we got to do this shoot! Got to shoot this fun local CrossFit competition in Austin at CrossFit Renew! It's always fun to document the energy and community vibe of a fitness event. Great job everyone!
Full disclosure: these are not couples. I just needed some Mt. Bonnell content BUT if these fake couples look this cute, imagine how gorgeous real engagement photos will look here! If you're engaged and you like the look of these images, shoot me an email and let's talk >> [email protected]
This Austin family is expecting their first little one! We met at Auditorium Shores to celebrate this beautiful moment in their lives. It was extra special because this was their first photoshoot since moving to Austin from the midwest last summer. Welcome to Austin and congratulations on the new addition to the family!
A beautiful day for Austin headshots for these four! We met at Mount Bonnell, a local park that overlooks both downtown and the Colorado River from a rugged limestone cliff. Even though the weather was a little chilly, they braved the wind and brought their warmest smiles.
