San Francisco Wedding Photographer | Our Lady of the Presidio and SF Film Centre Wedding Photos9/28/2019
This is how much Katie and Doug's people love them; literally none of their guests live in San Francisco, and yet, when they planned a wedding in the city of the Golden Gate, over a hundred people flew in from across the country and across the ocean (Brad's Aussie!) for the celebration. With so many fun-loving (and sort of jet-lagged) people in town, Katie and Brad's wedding was a weekend-long series of festivities, complete with a rugby match at a pub the night before, loads of opportunities for sightseeing and hiking in the morning, and a picnic in the park the day after the wedding.
Unexpectedly, San Francisco's signature fog layer lifted right at sunset, allowing us a window of time for gorgeous (and windy!) couple photos in between the ceremony and the reception at SF Film Centre. Pepperdine University's campus in West Los Angeles gives students mental and physical proximity to the futuristic energy of silicon beach, LA's tech hub. Though it's a stone's throw from the bustling 405 freeway, the West LA campus is an oasis where students can clear their minds and devote time to their studies and development.
These images are a new set of print and digital stock for the business school's marketing library.
Pepperdine University is a world-class institution located on the sunny shores of Malibu, California. In order to tell their story well in print, social, and other digital outlets, Pepperdine's business school marketing team put together this fun sunny photo shoot in Malibu, complete with some hilarious, stylish, and oh-so-authentic talent.
Malibu Proposal Photographer | Kevin Proposes to Holly at Point Dume Engagement Photography9/20/2019
It just doesn't get any better than this. Kevin reached out to me a few weeks ago because he was planning to propose to Holly, the love of his life, at Point Dume in Malibu, California, and he wanted some photos to document the moment. Best. Decision. Ever. At sunrise, just as the beautiful Pacific Ocean was being bathed in morning light, Kevin led Holly up to the clifftop and sat with her a few moments to reflect on their past and future together. And in that inspiring location, with only the waves and the seagulls (and me, hiding in the bushes) as witness, Kevin asked Holly if she would spend the rest of her life with him. And of course she said yes!
Great business schools need great stock photography (for print and digital promo) and Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School is preparing students for greatness in business administration, finance, and more across many sectors. The Graziadio marketing team was in need of a fresh set of photos that showcase real students in authentic classroom settings at one of the business school facilities, so we put together a day of shooting. Check out what came out!
Back in September, I did a six-day mountaineering course on Mount Baker, a 10,781 foot active volcano in Washington's northern Cascades. This might very well have been the coolest thing I did all year. In one week's time, I learned how to strap crampons onto my double-walled mountaineering boots (and walk on a glacier in them), set up a tent on a glacier using snow anchors, tie an alpine butterfly knot, self-arrest with an ice axe, and pee in a Nalgene water bottle.
