Every month, just in time for the full moon, MoonBox subscribers receive a package on their doorstep that's packed with essential oils, crystals, a special tea blend, and a guided meditation, all grounded in what's happening with the moon and stars this month. "It's a full moon ritual in a box!" the website says.
As MoonBox has grown in popularity and scope, they've also outgrown their past website and it's about time to build a new website with a new look and brand identity that's studded with crystals, grounded in yoga (let's face it... most of their subscribers are probably yogis) and bathed in sage and palo santo smoke. El Matador beach, with its mysterious caves and, varied low tide topography was just the right setting for this shoot with Paula, the founder of MoonBox (who also happens to be a an awesome yoga and meditation teacher in San Francisco).
These photos will primarily be used for website (hence the horizontal orientation) and social media marketing efforts. Check out MoonBox's social at @gaiacollective and @moonbox.co and keep an eye on their websites for these beauties to show up in banners and page imagery >> www.gaiacollective.com
This shoot was one part yoga photography, one part products-in-action shoot, and all jaw-dropping golden hour.
