Like these? I take lots of pictures of lots of different types of events! If you've got something coming up and you need a fast shutter and a nimble photographer (that's me!) who gets in the middle of the action, shoot me an email.
More event photography on my event photography page & weddings are on my weddings page!
Pride Water Polo is a local youth water polo club that prepares its athletes to be leaders in and out of the pool. They hired me to shoot and edit a promotional video that features interviews with coaches, parents & athletes, about what makes Pride stand out.
In addition to shooting footage, collecting interviews, and cutting the whole project together, I also shot a bunch of stills of the athletes and coaches in action (couldn't resist, I'm a photographer too!) These images will be valuable assets in Pride's social media, web & print marketing efforts. Catch up with Pride Water Polo Club on their website or facebook page.
Like this? This was a fun project because it integrates a combination of skills. Take a look at more videos on my videos page and more sport & fitness photography on my sport photography page.
Forgot to post this one last year, so here it is this year! This is the highlight video from Pepperdine's UCC Campus Ministry 2015 Spring Retreat to the mountains outside Santa Barbara, CA. Find out more about UCC Campus Ministry at their website (which I also built. Happens where you're married to the campus minister.)
One is a fresh, local, SoCal caterer and the other is an equally fresh, equally local, line of sweat pants. Together, Farm & Flame and Plain made a magical launch party happen last weekend in Malibu. With the usual mix of neighbors, surfers, families and a couple A-listers-next-door, we toasted the launch of two creative, lady-boss-led companies right here in our backyard.
My faves? The classic "No Strings Attached" sweatpant in gray, the Malibu Mary bloodys, the Brussels & Belly Skewers (you'll know them when you see them), the front yard setting, the brand new Farm & Flame food truck, and all the pretty afternoon light that showed up to make it all glow just so.
I can't think of a better combination of companies to represent what we value most about our Malibu lifestyle than the food we love and the clothes we live in. Cheers to you both and thanks for letting me capture it!
I live in Malibu, Calif.,
