A mini sesh as sweet as Guine and Urundi's mini me, Gabrielle. We may have gotten lucky with a knockout sunset, but even if we hadn't, I'm sure Gabrielle's giggles would have lit up the sky.
I think you have to have a pretty warm heart to endure a blustery, down right chilly afternoon portrait session at Zuma Beach in November. Mind you, "chilly" in Southern California should always be taken with a grain of salt, but Mike, Stephanie, and little Mila brought all the cuddles and snuggles, despite the stormy seas.... and these photos are even better because of that.
What a wonderful time of year to be celebrating family and a new baby, on the way in the spring!
Whoa these two.... they need to just get married already because their connection is so grounded, so natural. Sunlight in the fall in Malibu can be hit or miss, so when day-of arrived and the marine layer hung low, I thought for sure Cassidy would ask for a reschedule, but I'm SO glad she didn't. The colors from this shoot are just luscious.
Potter Family of (almost) Four at Dume Cove | Malibu Family Photography, Beach Family Photography, Malibu Maternity Photography
Whitney and Christopher Potter are two beautiful souls who have been incredible parents to Lincoln for the past 2 years. In just a few short weeks, this incredible family of three is about to become a family of four and they wanted to visit little Lincoln's favorite place on the planet, the "oh-sheh," to document this moment in time.
Congratulations on graduating from Pepperdine University, Sharon!
Ryan proposes to Alexa at Charmlee Park in Malibu, CA | Malibu proposal photography, Malibu engagement photography
As a photographer, I'm seeing a trend toward photographing actual moments in people's lives, not just the posed portrait photo shoots and I'm. Loving. It. When Ryan reached out and asked for photos of his proposal to beautiful Alexa, the love of his life, I knew it would be one of my favorite moments of the year.
Braelyn is graduating from high school and what better way to memorialize that than a fun, beachy photo shoot!? We headed down to El Matador State Beach (my favorite photographer's beach) for some golden light and low tide shenanigans. Take a look!
I can't wait until I've been married for 15 years. But until then, I'll just have to keep hanging out with other couples who have!
I'm starting to like this family-photos-at-home thing and I really hope it's going to become a trend. Read the rest of this post to see the sweetness of the Collins' family's 6am home session, featuring snuggles, scratch-made pancakes, a few tears, Curious George, and some back porch truck driving.
