All terms and rates on this page apply to video projects booked (scheduled) in 2020.

VIDEO RATES

IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE COMPLICATED.

There are two factors that go into figuring out the cost of your video project: (1) hours of shoot time, and (2) length of final video deliverable. Add those two together and you get >> the cost of your video project.

Okay let's get started....
HOURS OF SHOOT TIME ......... $250 per hour, up to 5 hours; $150 each additional hour after that
  • That includes interviews, event coverage, speakers, whatever you want me to shoot

+

LENGTH OF FINAL VIDEO DELIVERABLE ........ $300 per minute of final video deliverable
  • Two free rounds of edits. (I send you a draft, you give me feedback, I apply those edits... all free.)
  • Delivered to you in a digital file that's ready for you to embed in your website, load to YouTube, or play at an event.
So, just for the sake of example:
DAY-LONG CONFERENCE
You've got an 8-hour conference that you need video coverage of. You want me to capture the speakers, the attendees mingling, the breakout sessions, lunch, and collect a few candid interviews from conference attendees. You want me to shoot for all 8 hours. That's $1,700 in shooting costs.
+
Then you want a 3-minute highlight reel of the day that you'll put on your website and send out in a follow up email and a 1-minute teaser video to push to social. That's 4 minutes of videos, which comes to $1200 in final video deliverable.
=
Add the two together ($1,700 + $1,200) and you've got $2,900 as a total project fee.
FAMILY HOLIDAY VIDEO-CARD
Maybe you want to get a little creative this year and put together a video of your family laughing and connecting with one another as your annual holiday card. We would shoot for one hour, which is $250 in shooting costs.
+
Then you want a 2-minute video, set to music (or voiceover) that you can share with family. That's $600 for the video deliverable.
=
Add the two together ($250 + $600) and you've got $850 for the world's greatest Christmas card video, which will certainly bring a tear to your eye and a smile to your heart for years to come.
NOW OFFERING

PHOTO/VIDEO COMBO

Looking for stills in addition to video coverage of your event? You're in luck because I totally do both. Just add $100 per hour to the shoot cost. So it's $350 per hour up to 5 hours, $250 for each subsequent hour. No extra charge for the post-production.
