Bishoy and Sara were giddy like a couple of kids! Their beach elopement was all giggles and poetic vows and stolen kisses before the officiant even said, "You may kiss the bride!" These two are clearly twin flames who share so much love and passion for life and for one another. Bishoy and Sara, may your love burn ever brighter as you travel through the years together.
Malibu Beach Wedding Photography | El Matador Elopement Photography with Stephanie and Sean1/16/2021
Malibu is a truly beautiful place to get married, and one of the most breathtaking of these locations is El Matador State Beach. With the statuesque cliffs and rock formations and crashing waves below, it is the perfect setting for an intimate vow ceremony or elopement. Please note that Stephanie and Sean's wedding and photos occurred at low tide. These exposed boulders are not always visible at every hour of the day. Congratulations to Raquel and Danny on your beautiful vows and the beginning of your life together! It was an honor to document your wedding together with your family at Lighthouse Church. (Click "Read More" to view a full gallery from Raquel and Danny's Santa Monica wedding day.)
Karina and Pat's backyard COVID wedding was every bit as meaningful as it was laid back. They both got ready in Karina's mother and step dad's home, and said their vows in the backyard, then proceeded to dine and toast and laugh the night away in the spacious dining area (furniture moved out of the way to accommodate tables for the feast). What a delightful celebration of love and family and laughter and commitment this was, especially in the midst of a global pandemic. I'm so grateful to have be part of it!
Conejo Valley Wedding Photos | Joel and Claire Wedding at Conejo Valley Church of Christ Pictures10/31/2020
It was COVID. Their venue changed. A lot of plans changed. But one thing that didn't change was the fact that Joel and Claire were definitely going to say their vows and dance the night away surrounded by family and friends. So happy for these two and their love story!
Highlights:
You know what makes a worldwide pandemic a little happier? A WEDDING! Amy and Vic picked a special date (10-10-2020) for their wedding and they were determined to say their vows, come hell or high water. And you know what happened? It was incredible. The venue changed locations three times, but ultimately this Moor Park garden wedding was SO perfect and droolworthy. Congrats Amy and Vic! May all the joy and blessings be yours in the months and years to come.
Day of Wedding coordinator: Adena, with The Exotic Green Garden Venue: The Exotic Green Garden, Santa Rosa Valley, California Food/Beverage/Catering: Pierre’s Catering DJ/Music: Ryan Flowers: Wild Bloom Floral Cake: Sprinkles Cupcakes Dress: Grace Loves Lace Videographer: Tessa Hair & Makeup: Blush and Bridal Here's an awesome idea: shoot photos the day before (or the day after) your wedding, with no time pressure and the option to move the shoot to a truly epic natural location. That's what Josh and Andy did and the results are amazing! These two guys planned their backyard wedding at home on a Sunday and their portraits with me in Malibu the day before. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know them and begin their celebration a day early. These guys leveled up the style factor of their Point Dume wedding photos by renting a vintage car to incorporate in the shots.
Who says backyard weddings can't be huge—and glam? Chloe and Brandyn's backyard wedding was filled with all the usual thoughtfulness of a big venue wedding but with laid back details like lawn games. The best of both worlds!
Congrats Chloe and Brandyn as you begin your life together! These wedding pictures at El Matador Beach are particularly special because Tamara and Jon travelled in from out of town just to shoot with me! They had their wedding on another date and wanted to shoot these wedding portraits at the beach in Malibu in an unhurried, private way, so they could get some beautiful variety for their wedding album and to frame for their walls. Agoura Hills Wedding Photographer | Bev and Korey's Agoura Hills Event Center Wedding Photos3/7/2020
Bev and Korey's Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center wedding was so delightful and easygoing, full of sweet touches from family and friends and their shared church community. This was my first time shooting a wedding at this awesome venue, and I hope to return many more times! This location is set up for photography, with lots of beautiful textures, landscaping, and a gorgeous valley view. Korey and Bev opted to share a first look and exchange personal vows before their ceremony, on a grassy hillside near the event center and it was the perfect way to calm the pre-ceremony jitters as well as nab some knockout couple photos beneath a moody, almost-rainy sky. Venue: Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center Photographer: Cecily Breeding (that's me!) Officiants: Gary and Tammy Selby (personal friends of the bride and groom) Wedding coordinator: Rebecca Elkins (family friend) Flowers: Claire Reynolds (friend of the bride and groom) Bev's dress: Terry Costa, Dallas, TX DJ/MC: friend of the bride Food/Beverage/Catering: local favorite Wood Ranch BBQ Dessert: Blue Bell ice cream
